Keeping the Holiday Spirit with Essential Oils

The holiday season is almost here. I can close my eyes and hear the sounds and see the sights of holidays past but these are only memories. I can also conjure up the aromas of the pumpkin and the sweet potato pies, the roasting turkey and all the other goodies that help make the holidays so special. However there have been the odd years where I have not been able to participate in festivities with friends or family and I longed to be there.

Since I have discovered essential oils I can be assured that at least I will have the aromas around during the holidays even if I cannot be with my friends or family for some reason. I will also have the added benefit of the health supporting properties of the essential oils. Clove, orange, sage and others can be combined to make the holiday spirit live wherever I am at any time during the season and even before and after.

With over 140 essential oils and blends Young Living offers you just about every scent you could want to simulate that pumpkin pie. Just go to your favorite recipe find the spices and herbs, blend the equivalent oils together and diffuse for a special treat. It doesn’t take much oil, a few drops of each, or time, 15 to 20 minutes diffusing a couple times per day, to give your home that holiday smell throughout the season and year.
